We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Medical Assistant (MA) to join our team. As an MA, you will play a vital role in providing support to our healthcare providers and ensuring the efficient operation of our clinic. You will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, including taking patient vitals, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and take their vital signs
- Prepare patients for exams by collecting medical history, updating charts, and positioning patients
- Assist healthcare providers with procedures such as injections, blood draws, and minor surgeries
- Sterilize instruments and equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area
- Stock supplies and medications
- Handle insurance paperwork and billing
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Phlebotomist (PBT) preferred
- Experience working in a medical setting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
